SEND A MESSAGE FROM YOUR MOBILE DEVICE

STEP 1: Open the app

On your mobile device, tap the Hangouts icon from the home screen to open the app.

STEP 2: Start a new Hangout

Tap the "+" button in the top right corner to start a new Hangout.

STEP 3: Select people and Message

Select the people or circles that you want included in the conversation and their name(s) will appear at the top of your device. Tap the "Message" icon on the lower left part of the screen.

STEP 3: Type a message

Tap where it says "Send a mesage" in the bottom left corner and type your message.

STEP 4: Send a photo

Tap the camera icon in the bottom right corner. You can either take a photo to send or choose an existing photo stored on your device.

STEP 4: Turn the chat into a video call

Tap the video camera icon in the top right corner to initiate a video call with the person you were messaging.
