Teaching and learning in the 21st century are examined in this site through the metaphor of a voyage. The choice of metaphor was natural for me, as in my youth boat trips were always the highlight of every summer. I have spent a significant amount of my life on the water and I even met my husband through boating. The point of a boat trip is to seek an adventure, to explore new lands, to spend quality time with great people, and to gain knowledge and skills. My voyage through UBC's MET Program has been an eye-opening journey that I am happy and proud to share with you. Thank you for taking the time to view my site, and please feel free to email me with any feedback or comments using the form at the bottom of this page.
